We Awarded Over $200,000 To Three Female Entrepreneurs

Calling all Girlbosses, ambitious entrepreneurs, creative innovators, and side-hustlers. We want to make your dream business come true.

Along with Uber, we’re giving away more than $200,000 to entrepreneurs and ideas-women who are ready to take their passion projects to the next level. Turn your idea into action. Make your business bigger and better. Welcome to UberPitch.

It's Time To Rethink The Ratio

At Girlboss, we've always been a champion of women who go after the opportunities they believe in, despite any barriers that stand in their way. That's why we came together with Uber to launch Uber Pitch, a program awarding more than $200,000 in prize money to three rising-star entrepreneurs. The goal: Empower startups (or big ideas with big potential) by giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to enter to win financial support, mentorship, and the resources they need to level up.

The competition is officially closed, but scroll down to see our crowned winners and more resources on how to pitch your business. Then, join the conversation by sharing your entrepreneurship story or learnings and tag #RethinkTheRatio. When we can come together and share our biggest failures, more women will gain the confidence they need to get after it.

What if I already have a business idea? Am I eligible to enter?

You sure are. Uber Pitch funds are open to either pre-existing businesses and new business ideas. All entries must answer the required questions and submit a business pitch deck.

What criteria do you use to judge the winners?

The executive-level advisors will choose the winners based on the following criteria, broken out by percentages below:

Are there any age restrictions for Uber Pitch?

Applicants must be 18 years or older by the end of the submission period.

Will it cost me anything to enter?

Nope. You just need to put in the time.

Can I enter more than once?

You can only apply to Uber Pitch once, so make sure you put your strongest idea forward.

What if I missed the closing date? Can I submit late?

Unfortunately, we can’t accept any late entries. Submissions closed on October 21 at 11:59:59 p.m. PST.

When will the finalists be notified?

October 29-30

Is the competition open to non-US businesses?

Is there anything I should know about accepting prize money?

The prize must be used towards bona fide business expenses. If a prize is awarded for a business idea or plan submitted by a team that has not incorporated their business, the prize will be awarded solely to the designated team captain, who will be responsible for the payment of all income or other taxes associated with the prize.
